The plan. i started out looking for a used jet boat with a fresh v-8, a berkeley jet pump with the clean out port on the inside of the transom, a study 2 axel trailer with brakes, and a hull and interior that burned, or perhaps was smashed against the rocks after that last beer.. I have a 16 foot jon boat with a older 9.9 hp motor. it planes out and runs well. i use it for my utility trapping boat, but fish out of a different boat with a much bigger motor..
